The Chania city bus is the ideal solution for travel to the city and the nearby beaches or to the port of Souda, which has regular daily services.
The city buses do not go to Chania airport or the beach of Agioi Apostoloi.
It would help if you used the KTEL Chania – Rethymnon to travel to these destinations.
You can start from the city’s five locations: 1866 Square, Opposite the old market at the National Bank, Battle of Crete Square, and Zymvrakakis Street.

Bus tickets to various destinations are simplistically divided into two zones: A (inner city) and B (suburbs).
Indicative Destination of Zone A

Zone A’s ticket is €1.20 for purchase outside the bus and €2 for sale inside the bus. For Zone B, the ticket is EUR 1,60 for sale outside the bus and EUR 2,50 for purchase inside the bus. Tickets are free for all children under six years old if accompanied by an adult.
Ticket dispensers and machines are available at the starting points, and ticket machines are also located at some central stops.
Attention: You cannot buy a ticket online.
You can buy tickets in advance (90 days).
There are no weekly cards at the Chania City Bus Station, but monthly cards are issued for unlimited travel throughout Zone A and Zone B.
